Paycentre Africa is a CBN-licensed provider of mobile money and agency banking services in Nigeria. It is owned by the E-settlement Company. How to become a Paycentre POS Agent

So you have made up your mind to become a Paycenter agent and want to know the process involed.

First, you will need to have the following requirements before applying/

  • Android Phone
  • Valid ID
  • Passport Photograph
  • Utility bill (Not older that 3 months)
  • CAC Certificate (for corporate entities)
  • Physical Location

Once you are sure you have the above requirements.

 

  • Visit their website to signup

  • On the page, click the “Get Started” button.
  • Enter your mobile number and email. Click on Continue
  • You will receive an OTP or activation code to your Line.
  • To continue your application, enter the 8-digit activation code sent to you by e-mail or phone number.
  • Click the next button.
  • To log in, use your registered phone number as well as the default password (6-digits).
  • Create a new password after you log in.
  • Click on Create POS Account to enter your information (Username, Transaction Pin).
  • Fill in all required fields, and click “Submit.”

PS: Once you have submitted your application, you will need to wait for approval before your agent ID can be issued and you can begin working.

How to get a Paycentre POS device

Tha Paycenter POS device is also known as a Pinpad machine or M-POS is given to you as an agent to help you manage your mobile money shop more efficiently. To receive a Paycenter POS device, there are some things you need to do.

First, you need to pay a N10,000 maintenance fee and a N4,000 branding materials fee. After successful payment, the company ambassador will give you the M-POS device. That’s total of N14,000.

How much does it cost to get the Paycenter POS

It costs around N14,000 to get the M-POS or Pinpad which is like a mini POS. The big POS will cost you around N25,000 and you can get it from them. This amount doesn’t mean that you have bought the POS from them. However, it is just a cautionary fee to make sure you don’t cause damage to the POS.

How much time will it take for you to get your Paycentre POS?

The process of getting a Paycentre POS can take up to one week.

How do I activate Paycentre Pinpad?

To activate a Paycenter POS device,

  • Go to Google Play Store and install the Paycentre App.
  • Turn on the POS by pressing the power button.
  • Press the up-arrow key to see the entire screen.
  • Bluetooth Devices are available for mobile devices.
  • You’ll need it to match with your Pinpad’s serial numbers.
  • Keep an eye on your Pinpad’s serial no.
  • Use your mobile phone Bluetooth to pair your POS device.
  • That’s all. Now you can activate it and transact.

Paycentre also announced the launch of a cardless withdraw service. This allows clients to withdraw money directly from their bank accounts by dialing a USSD number. This service will be available to more than ten banks in Nigeria.
